Hi, I’m JC.

First, here are things you should know about me:

• I’m a huge NBA junkie
• I believe pizza and beer are all we need to survive in this world
• Back to the Future and Coming to America are two of my favorite movies
• My all-time list of TV shows include Seinfeld, The Office, Lost, Californication, and Entourage
• I like reading books, eating candy and making crappy jokes

I graduated with a degree in Computer Science, with specialization in IT from De La Salle University Taft. I worked in the IT industry for five years as a developer for GMA Network Inc., United Laboratories and Trend Micro Inc. But in 2010, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a writer.

I started freelancing for Gadgets Magazine, writing tech news and gadget reviews, and did a lot of work for online sports betting sites. Fortunately, I landed a job with Solar Entertainment as a writer for BTV and Solar Sports. I went on to become a senior writer/editor for CNNPhilippines.com, while also contributing for SLAM Philippines magazine.

I also previously served as an assistant managing editor for ESPN5.com, the Philippine edition of the ESPN portal. Now, I am the editor-in-chief for NBA.com Philippines. And I manage this blog.
