We are in a time where cultures are slowly shifting in favor of those who barely get the recognition they deserve. In this case, I’m talking about the Philippine women’s basketball community.

Over the past years, women’s basketball has been glossed over by many, but SLAM Philippines wants to change all of that in its return to print by finally giving credit where credit is due.

SLAM Philippines—a known force that celebrates, uplifts, and empowers the female hoops movement—has released its first-ever WSLAM Philippines magazine issue. 

Gracing the cover of the premiere issue are Gilas Pilipinas Women, a group of successful players in their own right who have made the country proud by accomplishing so much on the international stage.

Also inside the first WSLAM issue are features on Cassidy Hubbarth, Girls Got Game, the first female SLAM Rising Stars, and other trailblazers in the local female hoops scene.

What an amazing way for SLAM Philippines to make its print comeback.
